An original Americana/Celtic collusion of transatlantic acoustic folk. With a wry influential nod to the 60s folk revival, blissfuly ironic string bands and a sprinkling of Laurel Canyon, Stone Junction deliver stunning and unusual three-part harmonies combined with skilled instrumentals featuring guitars, mandolin, banjo, accordion, flute, and whistles ...creating an incomparable sound that is all their own...while proving everything doesn’t have to fit in a box...

Early iteration essentially evolved around the unique vocal stylings of Michael and Dan Lapins with a third harmony and not quite 'typical folk' lead guitar provided by Simon Shaw who was replaced by Will Thomson in 2013. Dan retired in 2019 and was replaced by Kim Thompsett. In 2020, Justin Homewood joined on bass. ... more
