about

Our last real live gig...with an actual, but socially distanced audience...was back in August 2020. Before that, our last pre-pandemic gig was in February before lock-down and we hadn't played live, or even rehearsed as a full line-up properly for at least five months. During the ensuing months of mis-guided malaise which included government 'money for meals' and the legendary 'rule of six', live gigs and concerts were becoming fond faded memories...and even rehearsals were few and far between or simply not possible. However, in late October, we did manage to get the entire new line-up together for a "virtually" live lock-down living room session. And, after a long day's set up, soft-finger syndrome and an 'audience-free' performance that ran quite late, this is the result. There is also a full video of the event on YouTube. Hope you enjoy it. We had a bit of fun making it, and, as the song says..."it will have to do, til the real thing comes along".

about

Stone Junction Hastings, UK

Stone Junction was originally formed by Michael Prochak as a trio back in 2010. Early iteration essentially evolved around the unique vocal stylings of Michael and Dan Lapins with a third harmony and not quite 'typical folk' lead guitar provided by Simon Shaw who was replaced by Will Thomson in 2013. Dan retired in 2019 and was replaced by Kim Thompsett. In 2020, Justin Homewood joined on bass. ... more
